In my role as a counsellor and supervisor, my principal aim is to help you feel more confident and to find purpose and meaning in your personal and professional life.
I am a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) www.bacp.co.uk and work within its ethical framework.
I take referrals from GPs and Employee Assistance Programmes and I also provide clinical and workplace supervision.
I have extensive experience of working with people in a wide variety of settings. During a varied career I have held senior communications roles in the media industry; worked for many years in film and television production and in Further Education as a tutor of language and literacy. I have also run groups based on ‘The Artist’s Way ‘, bringing creativity into daily life.
My approach is humanistic, constructive and down-to-earth. I have a straightforward and practical approach to all aspects of communication and a holistic view of health, putting your physical, mental and emotional well-being at the heart of our working relationship.
